Instructions on Emptying the Compressed Air Filter

• Filter needs its condensate emptied when the condensate level is approvimately 10 mm below the filter element (see mark on unit)

1. Turn off machine by toggling power switch on front panel
2. Unplug machine
3. Take front panel off of machine to gain access to the compressor
4. Pull ring to relieve remaining air pressure from tank, see picture
5. Turn the drainage screw in an anti-clockwise direction as seen from below
6. Condensate will then flow out, recommend capturing in a container

Instructions on Replacing the Filter Cartridge

• Filter cartridge should be replaced if it shows signs of low flow despite unmodified pressure settings
  1. 1. The regulator pressure guage is slow to react (drops quick and slowly builds its pressure back) when motion is occuring
     2. Likely experiencing more block & knife retract or extend fualts while the compressor is operating correctly
• Failure to maintain filters can result in misfiring of valves that control the motion of the machine. They can become dirty and not function properly. If valves are not operateing correctly the valve bank will need to be replaced

1. Turn off machine by toggling power switch on front panel
2. Unplug machine
3. Take front panel off of machine to gain access to the compressor
4. Pull ring to relieve remaining air pressure from tank, see picture
5. Push the unlocking slide in the direction of the arrow
6. Turn the filter bowl in an anti-clockwise direction
7. Pull the filter bowl away from the unit
8. Turn the complete filter cartridge in an anti-clockwise direction
9. Replace the filter cartridge if the pores are dirty. Grasp the new filter cartridge only at the lower end.
10. Tighten the new filter cartridge hand-tight
11. Fit the individual parts again in the reverse sequance. The following check must then be made:

• The locking pin of the filter bowl must face the large recess in the housing
• The unlocking slide must be heard to clip into place when the end stop is reached
