Securing Plug-in Terminal Connections

Before proceeding with any electrical work, it is crucial to follow all safety steps outlined in the owner’s manual, specifically in Section 4 – Safety. Whenever you clean or service the unit, make sure to remove all potentially hazardous energy from the system. To do this, turn off the machine using the power switch on the front panel. Then, unplug the machine from the wall to completely remove the energy source. Finally, access the air compressor and relieve the air pressure using the drain valve.

  • Start by removing the top bolts from the electrical cabinet. Set them aside in a safe place to prevent loss. Carefully take off the electrical cabinet lid and set it aside as well.

  •  Within the electrical cabinet, you will find the control unit located at the front of the system. While holding the face of the control unit, firmly press along the entire length of each of the plug-in terminals. There are a total of four terminals. Please ensure that you avoid pressing on the delicate wiring and focus your pressure on the plastic frame surrounding the terminals. This will help ensure a secure connection.

  •  After pressing the terminals back in place, carefully remount the electrical cabinet lid. Ensure a snug fit and tighten the bolts securely to keep the cabinet in place.

  •  Plug the system back in and turn on the power. Now, it’s time to test the inputs and outputs using the manual controls. Verify that the compressor cooling fan is running smoothly.
